The Bottom Line Learning resource for retail managers
The Bottom Line is a learning resource developed by First Impressions Resources and funded under the Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Program by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
The resource is ideal for retail managers and supports the development of skills required at this level, introducing the concepts, language and practices of reading and writing budgets and reports in the retail industry.
The DVD uses animation and live action to clearly demonstrate and explain the relevance and importance of budgets and reports in everyday retail situations. The DVD also presents formulas to follow when working out budgets and some basic rules of structure and grammar for report writing.
The accompanying CD contains a Learner's guide and a Trainer's guide
which are support materials to assist learners to understand and practise
retail budgeting and report writing. These are in multiple formats and
may be customised to suit different contexts and audiences, subject to
Commonwealth of Australia Copyright Conditions.
