VET Regulations

First Impressions Resources has demonstrated a commitment to the development and delivery of quality vocational programs to Industry since its inception in 1988. In recognition of this commitment FIR has been the recipient of Industry and Educational Awards as have many of our students.

  • 1. the Standards for RTO’s 2015 and

  • 2. for meeting the requirements of the ACPET Code of Ethics.

The Standards for RTO’s 2015 is the national set of standards which assures nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services for the clients of Australia’s vocational education and training system. FIR is subject to audits conducted by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to determine compliance with these standards.

An audit reviews evidence of an organisations’ compliance with the requirements of the Standards to confirm that it is achieving quality training and assessment outcomes. The process also identifies opportunities for improvement on these outcomes.

Prior to 2015 the Australian Quality training Framework (AQTF) was implemented in 2002 and subsequently the NVR Registered training Organisations in 2011.

Audit Outcomes

As a Pre-qualified Supplier under the User Choice 2010 – 2015 program, First Impressions Resources is required to publish audit information in relation to it’s compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework [AQTF].

Below you will see the outcomes of all AQTF audits conducted since [and including] our last renewal of registration.

The User Choice program provides public funding paid directly to Pre-qualified Suppliers for the delivery of accredited entry-level training to eligible Apprentices and Trainees.
